Tanned Legs (RKO, 1929). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Yes! It is pre-code Hollywood and lots of tanned legs were on display in this early musical comedy from the sound era. Arthur Lake, the films leading man, would go on to greater success as Dagwood Bumstead in the Blondie series based on the famous comic strip. As for the poster, this is the extremely rare style one sheet we've never seen before and it has one of the best tag lines in the history of posters. "Drama Gay and Daring as a Beach Petting Party". The one sheet also sports a great art deco motif and flapper girls galore. The poster was placed on linen to restore some minor pin and tack holes and light creasing in the corners.
