Swiss Miss (MGM, 1938). Keybook Photos (24) and Regular Photos (3) (8" X 10"). Comedy.
Vintage gelatin silver, black and white, glossy photos. There are 24 double weight, keybook photos with the linen flaps trimmed to the photos, and 3 single weight regular photos. There are original studio snipes attached to the verso of 11 of the photos. This amazing lot of original issue photos features two of the stars of the film: Della Lind (Grete Natzler) a wonderfully talented Austrian operatic soprano, and Walter Woolf King, a fine baritone, who many will remember from his villainy in Go West and Night at the Opera with the Marx Brothers. Starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Grete Natzler (as Della Lind), Walter Woolf King, Eric Blore, Adia Kuznetzoff, Charles Judels, Ludovico Tomarchio. Directed by John G. Blystone. Unrestored photos that appear virtually unused. Closer inspection may reveal one or two minor flaws, such as light toning in some of the regular photos. Very mild curl, and some minor surface crinkles. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine/Near Mint.
