Description

Sunny Side Up (Fox, 1929). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell would make twelve films together, creating an unparalleled cinematic romance. They were lovers in secret from 1926-1929, when Gaynor married, but would remain close friends their entire lives. Here they make their talkie debut in this musical comedy. Gaynor, from the poor side of town, meets rich playboy Farrell, who wants to make his fiancee jealous. By the time he realizes that it's Gaynor that he loves, it may be too late. This lovely card, with the two stars looking at each other, says it all. Just a few tackholes and pinholes in the corner and image, and a mild horizontal creasing. Fine+.
