Sleeper by Woody Allen and Marshall Brickman (United Artists, 1974). Very Fine-. Third Revised Script (130 Pages, 8.75" X 11").
With Sleeper, writer Marshall Brickman collaborated with Woody Allen to write their first script together. Sleeper, a satirical comedy taking place in the dystopic future of the year 2173, was a hit, and the film's success led to other writing collaborations between Brickman and Allen including Annie Hall (1977) and Manhattan (1979). Offered here for the first time at Heritage is an original script for Sleeper. Dated March 1, 1973, this is the third revision of Brickman and Allen's script. The script is bound by two brass brads, and the front and back cover display mild edge wear, tiny nicks, subtle surface indentations, smudges, and slight stains. There is also a graphite mark just beneath the printed title on the front cover, and the covers have soft vertical folds where the script has been opened. The interior pages are in excellent condition with only a few soft creases and minimal edge wear.
