She Done Him Wrong (Paramount, 1933). Very Fine. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Based on the successful and controversial 1928 play Diamond Lil starring and written by Mae West, She Done Him Wrong stars West in a role that pushed the boundaries of the pre-Code era with her sultry performance and seductive quips. This is the film in which West utters the phrase, "why don't you come up some time and see me," an immortal phrase that made it into AFI's top 100 movie quotes of all time. She Done Him Wrong also stars Cary Grant, a Hollywood heartthrob whom West took credit for discovering (despite Grant starring in prominent pictures prior to 1933). Offered here for the first time at Heritage is this lovely lobby card from the film picturing West along with Gilbert Roland and Noah Beery. The card has restoration applied to very slight trims in the borders, which have been airbrushed. The image, title, and credits areas are in excellent condition with just a few very faint scuffs and a minimal amount of touchup applied to the left side of the image and credits.
