Remember the Night & Other Lot (Paramount, 1940). Overall: Fine+. Mini Window Cards (2) (8" X 14"). Comedy.
Starring Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, Beulah Bondi, Elizabeth Patterson, and Sterling Holloway. Directed by Mitchell Leisen. In addition to the restored window card for Remember the Night there is also an unrestored window card for The Moon is Down (20th Century Fox, 1943) included in this lot. A restored and an unrestored window card with good color and overall very presentable appearances. The imprint area and the right border of Remember the Night have been replaced and airbrushed to address paper loss, while touchup has corrected a few scuffs within the upper blue background/title lettering. Additionally, the majority of the white background has been airbrushed and a small tear along the bottom border remains visible. The Moon is Down displays light edge wear and creases, pinholes, a small tear along the top border, a few tiny paper lifts, and a noticeable bend/partial tear at the upper left corner. The majority of the wear in this lot is in Remember the Night. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
