    Description

Peck's Bad Boy (First National, 1921). One Sheet (27" X 41"). At the age of four, little Jackie Coogan was already performing on stage with his family of vaudevillians. It was during one of these performances that he caught the eye of Charles Chaplin, who soon hired the youngster to costar in his masterpiece, "The Kid." "Peck's Bad Boy" was Coogan's first starring role, and was the beginning of a film career that would make him one of the highest paid film actors of his day. After Coogan's child star career came to an end, he continued to work in films as a character actor and worked frequently in television; his most notable role was that of Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family" TV series. This poster has light fold line wear, surface wrinkles, creases, small border dings and chips, and a small amount of paper loss in the upper left corner. This one sheet has been linen backed but no restoration has been attempted. This gorgeous stone litho poster represents a historic first for one of the most popular child stars of the silent era. Fine+ on Linen.
