This original concept art for Mystic Pizza by illustrator Greg Manchess captures the film's warm, small-town spirit, juxtaposing the smiling faces of its young ensemble cast, among them Julia Roberts and Vincent D'Onofrio, with a quaint sketch of the New England harbor below. Offering insight into the design process behind the 1988 coming-of-age film, the piece reflects the tone and character of the movie's promotional imagery. Only smudges and soft creases are visible in this graphite on vellum piece.
