    Description

Moulin Rouge (United Artists, 1934). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Constance Bennett takes on a dual role in this pre-Code comedy, body swapping between a reluctant housewife and her nightclub singer best friend. Franchot Tone plays the unwitting husband, who gets caught in the two-sided love triangle and nearly conned into an affair with his own wife. Sharp-eyed viewers may catch a shot of a young Lucille Ball, playing an uncredited chorus girl in her fourth ever appearance on screen. Bearing a beautiful stone litho image of Bennett in her glamorous getup, the poster has had touchup to the folds, pinholes in the borders and the edge of the background, small tears in the borders, and a minor chip in the bottom border. There are a few horizontal creases on the right side of the poster that are still slightly visible after restoration. Very Fine- on Linen.
