Charlie Chaplin produced one of his greatest masterpieces with this 1936 comedy classic. Co-starring his newest discovery, the beautiful Paulette Goddard, Chaplin told a tale of the average modern man thrust into a series of overwhelming and heartbreaking circumstances, eventually landing in prison. But love overcomes all, and he and Goddard walk off into the sunset, arm in arm, in a wonderful happy ending. A Heritage first, this Swedish reissue features terrific images of Chaplin and Eric Rohman artwork. There is a very minor smudge in the lower border. Folded, Near Mint.
