    Description

    Marx Brothers (MGM, c. 1935). Rolled, Very Fine. Full-Bleed Personality Poster (22" X 28").
During the early 1930s and through the middle of that decade, MGM Studios produced a set of personality posters in different years for display in the lobby of the theaters showing their product. Posters of some of the more popular artists of the period have been very elusive to find for collectors over the years. This is one of those. This is the poster produced by the studio for their new stars, the Marx Brothers, just as they had made the transition from Paramount. The posters were printed on a pebble finish stock paper. This vibrant and very rare poster has light edge wear, pinholes, faint unobtrusive stains, and some dust shadows.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
