This beautiful original oil painting has a very unique story. This fantastic work of art was discovered in a Salvation Army store. Rendered in 1928 by Louise Lauritzen McCaslin on the set of Laurel and Hardy's comedy short We Faw Down, it shows the comedy duo with Bess Flowers and Vivien Oakland. Astonishingly, this painting almost wound up in a dumpster before it was rescued by an employee. McCaslin worked as a costume and set designer at the movie studio in the 1920s, but also was a professor of fine arts. With the artwork is also included an issue of The Laurel and Hardy magazine from March 2015 with an article about the painting's discovery.
