    Description

    Lady in the Dark (Paramount, 1949). Post-War Italian 2 - Foglio (39" X 55") Angelo Cesselon Art.
Ginger Rogers, a successful editor of a fashion magazine, undergoes psychoanalysis to find out why she is dissatisfied with her life in this entertaining musical, based on the play by Moss Hart. Co-starring Ray Milland, Warner Baxter, John Hall, and Barry Sullivan, the film presents Rogers' self-examinations in the form of musical numbers. The beauty and allure of Rogers is perfectly captured in this gorgeous poster by Italian artist Angelo Cesselon (1922-1992). There are pinholes in the borders, smudges, tears in the folds at the edges, a tear in the lower border and upper corner, a pinhole tear in the lower left corner, and archival tape on the verso. Fine+.
