Duck Soup (Paramount, 1933). Mini Window Card (8" X 14").
Purists will argue the finer points for decades to come, but for many fans, this sublime bit of merry mayhem is the finest film the fabulous Marx Brothers ever produced, with Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and Zeppo at the height of their comedic super-powers. Groucho is Rufus T. Firefly, leader of all Freedonia, and Chico and Harpo are peanut vendors turned spies in this raucous political satire. Offered here is the extremely rare midget window card, one of the toughest bits of paper on this title, featuring a great image of the boys lined up in their cars. The imprint area was missing and has been married with another vintage section, with some color restoration to Harpo's hat; there is also a pinhole in the lower left, which has been patched with professional restoration.
