Charlie Chaplin (c. Late 1960s). Very Fine. Autographed Photo (7.25" X 9"). Comedy.
One of the most iconic and important figures in the history of cinema, Charlie Chaplin has brought joy and inspiration to movie going audiences the world over. Recognized by many for his screen persona, "The Little Tramp," Chaplin poured his heart and soul into the craft of filmmaking, often serving as writer, director, producer, editor, and star of his own pictures. Several of his films, such as Modern Times, The Great Dictator, City Lights, The Gold Rush, and more, are brilliant and unquestioned classics that continue to delight audiences and display the genius of this comedy legend. Offered here is a fantastic autographed photo of Chaplin in his older years-- An amazing opportunity for any fan of the beloved actor to add to their collection. An unrestored black and white, single weight, glossy finish photo with a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge wear, soft curling, faint surface blemishes, or small smudges. There are some paper remnants on the verso. The photo has been inscribed and signed, "To Mr. Rovesi-- My thanks and best wishes, Charlie Chaplin." Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed item in this lot is authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
