Description

    Columbia Exhibitor Book Lot (Columbia, 1932-1933 & 1933-1934). Exhibitor Books (2) (Multiple Pages, 11" X 14.25").
The Columbia exhibitor book for the 1932-1933 season has ads for Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphonies, two page ads for The Bitter Tea of General Yen when Anna May Wong was the lead player and Frank Capra's American Madness. There are ads for Westerns from Buck Jones and Tim McCoy, a two page ad for Barbara Stanwyck, and much more. The fantastic 1933-34 exhibitor's book features some of the most spectacular art of any we've ever seen. There are gorgeous layouts for films including 20th Century, Lady for a Day, The Lady is Willing, Fog, Black Moon, The Party's Over, The Hell Cat, Let's Fall in Love, and numerous others. Also of note is a stunning portrait of Carole Lombard, and a great full page for Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies. The 1932-1933 exhibitor book has some surface paper loss on the front and back covers with overall general wear, and the 1933-1934 exhibitor book has some smudging on a few pages and the spine is detached, causing loose binding. Fine+.
