    Description

Cinders of Love (Lynch, R-1920). One Sheet (27" X 40").
Chester Conklin and Slim Summerville star in this Keystone Comedy short from producer Mack Sennett. Interestingly, both actors ran away from home to pursue their dreams of acting. Conklin was the son of a minister who would never approve of a film career, and Summerville simply fell under the spell of wanderlust. Both actors enjoyed multi-decade movie careers, and this early talkie showcases their comedic talents. This gorgeous stone litho one sheet has a tear in the top border repaired with tape on the reverse, crossfold separations, light creasing in the borders, and some smudging along the top. Folded, Very Fine-.
