Christmas in July (Paramount, 1940). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Dick Powell and Ellen Drew star in this film directed by Preston Sturges about an average guy who wants to win a contest and use the money for good deeds. What he doesn't realize, when he receives the telegram announcing his "win", is that his co-workers have played a gag on him, and he's already off and spending the money he doesn't have. It was only the second film for Sturges as both writer and director and it would further solidify his career as one of Hollywood's most gifted writers of comedy. This one sheet had only minor color touch up to the folds and a bit of airbrushing in the lower left edge due to some chipping in the borders. Paper on this title is very scarce and this is the first time Heritage has offered a one sheet on this title.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
