    Description

    Casablanca (Warner Brothers, 1942). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Sometimes every detail aligns perfectly and a masterpiece is created out of the unbelievable combination of a superb director--Michael Curtiz, a flawless cast--Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Peter Lorre, Dooley Wilson, Conrad Veidt..., a remarkable script from Julius and Philip Epstein and Howard Koch, the guiding hand of a top producer-- Hal B. Wallis, a haunting score--Max Steiner, and the timing of world events. The film strikes the ultimate balance of romance, suspense, and intrigue. Not only was this picture an immediate sensation, resonating with audiences on the brink of World War II, but its lasting impact has been felt by every generation since. The popularity of paper from this title is undiminished, and we are excited to offer the sensational one sheet here, which has been professionally restored. The poster has pinholes in the borders, crossfold separations, a tear in the left border, a chip and tear in the left that extends into the background, and a chip in the lower right corner. There are two small tears at the right edge that occurred after restoration. This is one of the star pieces that no top movie poster collection can be without. Fine+ on Linen.
