    Casablanca (Warner Bros., R-1949). Fine/Very Fine. Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
After the war, Warner Bros. felt it was time to reissue their Academy Award winning love story, and these great cards are from that first re-release. Both feature wonderful images from the classic picture, with shots of Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Peter Lorre. General wear between the cards includes pinholes, unobtrusive smudges and stains, and a few surface scuffs. The number 2 card (a portrait shot of Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman) has thin dust shadows, as well as an ink stamp and a piece of paper tape on the verso. The number 5 card (with Peter Lorre and Bogart) shows very minor chips and paper lifts, small tears, rust stains, and toning. It also has a vertical fold, creases, and a bit of ink writing on the verso.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
