DescriptionCasablanca (United Artists, R-1962). Very Fine- on Linen. Italian Photobusta (26.25" X 18.75").
Few films can every hope to compare to the performances found in this most famous of wartime dramas, thanks in large part to some of the players found in this colorful offer from Heritage. Sydney Greenstreet is at his most charming as Humphrey Bogart's business rival, while Paul Henreid gives a sympathetic performance as Bogie's rival in love. And then, of course, there is the ever-stunning Ingrid Bergman in her compelling role as a woman torn between love and duty. Light touchup has been applied to fold wear, creases, small tears, and a scuff extending from Greenstreet's hand though his neck. Due to the linen-backing process the gloss on this piece has become slightly mottled.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
