DescriptionBullitt (Warner Bros., 1969). Very Fine- on Linen. Silk Screen Full-Bleed Day-Glo British Double Crown (20" X 30").
Steve McQueen defines the words "tough cop" in this action-packed thriller about a police officer who sets out to track down an underworld big shot who killed a witness under his protection. The famed car chase scene - in which McQueen did all his own driving - set a new standard for all such action sequences to come. This silk screen day-glo British poster is a rare sight indeed for collectors and Heritage is pleased to present this poster for the first time. Touchup has been applied to fold wear, pinholes, small tears, and a minor chip in the top right corner. There are some unaddressed surface scuffs. The linen has been trimmed nearly to the borders.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
