    Description

    Breakfast at Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961). One Sheet (27" X 41").
An irresistible one sheet from a magnificent film, this piece is always highly prized by collectors. Skillfully adapted from the Truman Capote novella, this darling picture had it all...wit, romance, humor, New York City and Tiffany's in the 1960s, Audrey Hepburn, a score by Henry Mancini, and that iconic Givenchy black dress. It is probably still the silver screen's most copied look, from the black crepe gown, to the massive pearl necklace cascading down Hepburn's back, to the diamond jewelry used as a hair ornament. Highly acclaimed poster artist Robert McGinnis is credited with bringing Holly Golightly (Hepburn) splendidly to life on this lightly restored piece. Slight touch-up has been applied to the folds, a tiny bottom right corner chip, a small tear in the top background, and a torn pinhole in the top left corner. The poster has very minor separation from the linen in bottom border. This bright copy will not disappoint a discriminating collector! Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
