    Bill Jones Motivational Lot (Parker-Holladay, 1928). Very Fine- on Linen. British Motivational Posters (2) (22" X 28") No. 6 & No. 15.
Made to offer encouragement and advice to the British workingman, these posters from Parker-Holladay feature the sayings of a man called Bill Jones. However, there was no Mr. Jones offering quick bits of good advice to the English public. The persona was a creation of the publishing company specifically for this series of posters, eventually gaining enough popularity to see distribution in North America. Both of these stone litho posters have unobtrusive smudges and a few small tears. Poster No. 15 also has mild creases, a minor tear in the interior, and a small splice in the lower left corner. Some of the issues in the No. 15 poster have light touchup applied, although they are still visible. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $400 - $800.
