DescriptionBelle Starr (Union Film, 1949). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. First Post-War Release Italian 2 - Fogli (39.5" X 55"). Angelo Cesselon Artwork.
A Heritage first, this gorgeous portrait of the young Gene Tierney produced by the great Italian artist Cesselon is assuredly one of the best done of star! When Belle Shirley (Tierney), daughter of a Southern aristocrat, has her land taken from her by Union forces during the Civil War, she relocates to Missouri, where she marries Confederate guerilla leader Sam Starr (Randolph Scott). Together, the couple set out to avenge the South in a series of daring raids, becoming outlaws in the process. Professionally restored, this poster once displayed slight edge wear, enlarged pinholes, and small chips in the borders. The Technicolor logo below the title has been restored back to its original condition. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
