    Description

Behind the Make-Up (Paramount, 1930). Very Fine- on Cardstock. Window Card (14" X 22").
In this unusual drama, William Powell (third billed on this poster) plays an Italian vaudeville actor, who steals his friend's girl (played by Fay Wray) and his friend's stage act. The star of this film is Hal Skelly (not shown on the poster). Not well known, Skelly was only in a few films, then died in a freak car accident and is totally forgotten today. This window card features gorgeous artwork of Powell and Wray and is clear of most interior defects with the exclusion of touchup to a couple of pinholes, light surface scuffs, soft creases, and a small tear in the bottom right corner. The borders and imprint area have been airbrushed. Very Fine- on Cardstock.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
