Background to Danger (Warner Bros., 1949). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. First Post-War Release Italian 2 - Fogli (39.25" X 55") Alfredo Capitani Artwork.
Offered for the fist time by Heritage, this Italian poster features striking artwork of George Raft and Sydney Greenstreet by artist Alfredo Capitani. This dramatic portrayal of the leading men alludes to the atmosphere of the film and a general sense of unease throughout. General wear includes some edge and fold wear, small fold separations, enlarged pinholes, and a couple of horizontal creases near the top border. The poster has minor tears, toning, mostly unobtrusive stains and smudges, as well as a few chips. There is ink and grease pencil writing on the verso, which has caused some bleedthrough visible near the credits. The verso also has several pieces of plastic tape bracing the folds and a few tears.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
