DescriptionBack Stage (Paramount, 1919). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
When stagehands Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton electrocute a vaudeville troop's abusive strongman and shoo off the snooty "eccentric" dancer, it's up to the backstage crew to put on the performance themselves. After all, the show must go on! That's Buster dressed in drag at the top in Fatty's arm's, with Arbuckle's nephew, Al "Fuzzy" St. John, making an appearance to the bottom right. Never before offered at Heritage, this fantastic restored lobby card once showed a few pinholes, small edge tears, and a couple of minor chips in the bottom corners. There was a tear from the left border into the background, and there was paper loss along the upper border. All of the borders have been airbrushed. Fine.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
