Army Recruitment (U. S. Army, Early 1910s). Very Fine+ on Linen. Poster (23" X 33") "500 Teamsters Wanted for the Army," C. F. Peters Artwork.
Prior to their entanglement in the First World War, the U.S. Army focused much of its recruiting efforts on young men wishing to see the great frontier of the American West. Necessary for this endeavor were troops with horsemanship skills, such as the teamsters mentioned in this fine vintage poster. Backed on linen, this impeccable Heritage first shows neither wear nor touchup.

    Estimate: $400 - $800.
