    Description

The Tarzan Chronicles by Howard E. Green (Hyperion, 1999). Hardcover Book (194 Pages) (13.5" X 10.5"). Animation.
This handsome coffee table book tie-in to the Walt Disney animated movie recounts the challenges the filmmakers had to conceptualizing a new version of the Tarzan character and to make the character strong enough to stand on its own against previous incarnations from those of Johnny Weissmuller and his live-action movie successors. There are hundreds of both color and black-and-white illustrations, concept drawings, production stills, and story accounts by the filmmakers themselves throughout the process. Starring the voices of Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver, Glenn Close, Brian Blessed, Nigel Hawthorne, Lance Henriksen, Wayne Knight, Alex D. Linz, Rosie O'Donnell, Taylor Dempsey, and Jason Marsden. Directed by Chris Buck and Kevin Lima. An unrestored hardcover book that appears virtually unused. Closer inspection may reveal one or two minor flaws, such as light edge or spine wear. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine/Near Mint.
