    Description

The Nightmare Before Christmas (Touchstone, 1993). Alternate Lenticular One Sheet (27" X 40").
While the lenticular advance poster is hard to find, this version, known as the "Hell's Gate" style, was never even sent to theaters. Featuring a spook-tacular image of the cast in a graveyard, the poster was made out of photographic material laminated onto plexiglass that creates a 3-D effect, referred to in the industry as a barrier strip image. It's thought that only thirty to fifty exist, as they were produced for an '"in-house" promotion or as a prototype/concept poster that was ultimately refused by the studio. This rare and highly collectible poster shows a surface scratch at the lower left edge below the bathtub. The film celebrates it's twentieth anniversary this year, and we can think of no better way for fans to celebrate than adding this magnificent lenticular to their collection. Very Fine+.
