Song of the South (RKO, 1946). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
Walt Disney combined live action and animation to great effect in this beloved re-telling of the Br'er Rabbit stories. James Baskett stars as Uncle Remus and provides the voice for Brer Fox, with Bobby Driscoll starring as Johnny, and Ruth Warrick as Sally. Disney pulled the film from distribution after its last theatrical re-release in 1989, due to what was believed to be racial stereotyping. A complete set of lobby cards is extremely hard to come by for this picture, and this one is in highly presentable condition. The #2 card has pinholes in the top corners, and #3 has pinholes in the top corners, and scratches and stain in the bottom border. Very Fine+.
