DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs (RKO, R-1943). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Before it was released, this first American animated feature was known as "Disney's Folly." Even his wife and brother tried to convince him that he was wrong to make it. Walt Disney had the last laugh -- the film was an instant success and, until Gone With the Wind came out a year later, was the highest grossing film of all time. And like Gone With the Wind, Snow White would enjoy continued success over the years with each successive reissue. This was the first reissue of the film in 1943. Restoration has addressed pinholes in the corners, fold wear, cross fold separation with small tears, and surface paper loss in the bottom image area. The poster now has a very clean appearance and is a nice piece from the first re-release of this classic. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
