    Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (RKO, 1937). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14"). From the Leonard and Alice Maltin Collection.
From Walt Disney's very first feature film, these eight lobby cards depict some of the most wonderful scenes in the history of animation. And that history has become legend within the movie business, as it tells how Mr. Disney was ridiculed for even considering turning a "cartoon" into a feature film, a feature that almost drove his fledgling studio into bankruptcy. All of the cards in this set have had a slight 1/4" trim to the right border and have some very minor smudges in the white areas. Five of the cards have very minor pinholes within the borders and the title area, and the other three cards have more pronounced tack holes in the borders. The witch card has a small gouge in the center of the background. Included in this lot is the original sleeve from the set. From the Leonard and Alice Maltin Collection. Fine-.
