Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Courvoisier Galleries, ca. Late 1930s). Very Fine-. Framed Prints (2) (13.75" X 15.75"). Animation.Presented in this lot are two rare vintage prints from scenes of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Through Courvoisier Galleries, Disney originally began selling original animation cels, but due to high demand, these prints were merchandised to help combat the publics' desire. Though ultimately not financially successful, these prints survive as remarkable vestiges of the time. Starring the voices of Adriana Caselotti, Roy Atwell, Eddie Collins, Pinto Colvig, Billy Gilbert, Otis Harlan, Scotty Mattraw, and Lucille La Verne. Directed by David Hand. Unrestored prints with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as light edge and corner wear, mostly soft creases, a few unobtrusive smudges and scuffs, faint staining along the borders of the print mats, or general age and wear to the frames and protective glass. A Walt Disney production.
