    Description

    Saludos Amigos (RKO, 1942). Three Sheet (41.5" X 79").
This 43-minute animated feature is Walt Disney's contribution to the wartime "Good Neighbor Policy" between the USA and Latin America. Opening with live-action footage of Disney and his staff (referred to by the narrator as a "group of artists and musicians") heading off to South America to glean material for a new cartoon project, the film then segues into the misadventures of American tourist Donald Duck at Lake Titicaca. We've not come across much paper for this fun film, and the jovial three sheet offered in this lot is a Heritage first. It's in highly presentable condition after restoration addressed paper loss near the folds, chips in the borders, and a small hole in the background. Fine on Linen.
