    Description

Pinocchio (RKO, 1946). Very Fine- on Linen. First Post-War Release Full-Bleed French Grande (45" X 61.5") Bernard Lancy Artwork.
Heritage has never had the opportunity to offer this original release French grande before, and is thrilled to do so for the first time! Following the staggering success of his first animated feature Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Walt Disney followed with another audience favorite. Author Carlo Collodi's beloved wooden puppet is brought to life in this delightful film with Dick Jones voicing Pinocchio, Cliff Edwards as Jiminy Cricket, Christian Rub as Geppetto, and Evelyn Venable as the Blue Fairy. On this whimsical piece of original French paper, artist Bernard Lancy provides an excellent image of Disney's famous puppet boy, bestowing his own unique style on the illustration. Touchup has been applied to the folds with small creases, pinholes, a tear at the left side, and a chip at the lower edge. These professional corrections have made this fun piece an item ready for display!
