    Description

La Grande Parade de Walt Disney (RKO, 1940). French Grande (46" X 62.5").
Shown only in France, this little known compilation was the last Disney feature to be released in the country before the Nazi takeover in June of 1940. Headlining the whole affair are Oscar winners Ferdinand the Bull and The Ugly Duckling, as well as the Academy Award nominated short Brave Little Tailor starring Mickey Mouse. Several of Walt Disney's other famous shorts made the cut, including such audience favorites as Donald's Golf Game, The Practical Pig, and Farmyard Symphony. All of these cartoons' beloved characters appear on this colorful French grande, the first paper that Heritage has ever offered for this very rare title. A great chance for animation fans and serious Disney collectors, the poster has received touchup to correct slight fold wear, pinholes in the borders, and a chip in the lower left crossfold. There is some unaddressed image ghosting in the background, and the poster has some unobtrusive stains, but this does not detract from the piece's wonderful presentation. Very Fine- on Linen.
