    Description

The Olympic Champ (RKO, 1942). Australian Daybill (13" X 30"). This very funny Disney short was one of the best of Goofy's sports cartoons, in which Goofy instructs viewers on the rules of the world's most popular sports. "The Art of Skiing" and "How to Play Baseball" featured his trademark slapstick humor, but here Goofy dispenses tidbits of interesting information about the tradition of the torchbearer and some of the more obscure events -- hurtling, the pole vault, the hammer throw and the decathlon. John McLeish, narrator for most of the Goofy films, describes the action in his best documentarian manner. This Australian daybill boasts bright, untouched stone lithography. Near Mint.
