    Description

Mickey Mouse Stock Poster (United Artists, 1935) One Sheet (27" X 41"). By 1935, Walt Disney had already been producing his Silly Symphony cartoons in Technicolor and he was finally given the budget by United Artists to begin producing his Mickey Mouse series in color as well. This stock sheet proudly announced to the world that the Technicolor Mickey Mouse cartoons would be appearing in theatres. This linen backed one sheet has had a significant amount of the yellow background airbrushed to correct some staining and chipping. The borders have been airbrushed as there were some chips out of them and the white of Mickey's face has been airbrushed as well. Even with this work, it is all very professional and the poster now appears quite nice. Very Good+ on Linen.
