    Description

Mickey Mouse in "Mickey's Garden" (Good Housekeeping, 1935). Magazine (250 Pages). Animated.
The Good Housekeeping Magazines from the mid-1930s have always been sought for their "Mickey Mouse" pages. They were used by Walt Disney to promote upcoming Disney cartoons. This particular issue has a full color page for Mickey's Garden, which which was released in July of 1935. Also of interest in this March, '35 issue are the hundreds of illustrations of 1930s Americana, fiction from popular authors of the day, and full page ads for Bon Ami, Lucky Strike, Ford and Pontiac, just to name a few. The cover features a beautiful illustration by Vernon Thomas. An unrestored magazine that displays signs of use. May include light edge wear, very minor paper loss, or unobtrusive stains. The back cover is missing. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine/Very Fine.
