Jerky Turkey (MGM, 1945). One Sheet (27" X 41").Fans of Tex Avery won't want to miss this special one sheet from the Technicolor classic Jerky Turkey. It's a wonderful cartoon short featuring a very smart turkey who avoids being eaten by the Pilgrims at the first Thanksgiving dinner. With plenty of sight gags and twisted history, it's a hoot from start to finish. The voices of the hunter and the turkey belong to Daws Butler and Bill Thompson (best known for his Droopy characterizations). Rarely offered for public sale, the stone litho poster is in excellent condition. A bit of fold separation has been touched-up, resulting in a fine looking collectible. All of Tex Avery's work is highly sought after, including this popular gem. Very Fine- on Linen.
