    Description

    Casey Bats Again (RKO, 1954). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Written in 1888 by Ernest Thayer, the poem "Casey at the Bat" was popularized on stage and set to music in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century when the baseball craze had really taken hold of the country. Based on Thayer's original, there are two animated short films by Walt Disney, "Casey at the Bat" produced in 1946, which is a direct adaptation of the poem, and this film, produced in 1954, in which Casey's daughters redeem his reputation. There is minor cross fold separation with a very minor amount of paper loss and some slight wrinkling on the fold lines. Very Fine+.
