    Alexander's Ragtime Band (20th Century Fox, Late 1940s). Folded, Fine. First Post-War Release Italian 2 - Fogli (39" X 55").
After their successful pairing a year earlier in In Old Chicago, 20th Century Fox decided to reunite their new leading man, Tyrone Power, with their sensational leading lady, Alice Faye, in this cavalcade of hit music from Irving Berlin. Fox seemed to rule the screens with musicals in this era, and this was one of their best as it received a nomination for Best Picture of the Year. Signs of usage include fold separations, pinholes, tears at the edges, as well as some chips and paper lifts in the upper border. There are unobtrusive smudges, toning, a gouge in Tyrone Power's image, and mirrored tears in the interior. The verso has strips of paper and masking tape bracing tears and fold separations.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
