Superba Savon Poudre (ca. 1900s/1910s). Fine+ on Linen. French Advertising Poster (28.25" X 38.75"). Advertising.
This early 20th-century French advertising poster for Superba Savon Poudre employs vivid imagery of a laundress aided by a cherub to promote the antiseptic washing powder, emphasizing its ability to clean without scrubbing while preserving fabric quality. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Minimal touchup has addressed parts of the fold wear. Many flaws, including light edge wear, other fold wear, smudges and scuffs, creases, light toning, and foxing along the linen borders, remain visible. Additionally, there are a couple of small stains on the linen verso. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
