    The African Queen & Others Lot (United Artists, 1952). Photos (8), Restrike Photo (approx. 10" X 14"), & Trimmed Photo (10.25" X 13.25"). Adventure.
    Vintage gelatin silver, single and double weight, glossy/matte finish/restrike photos. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Robert Morley, Peter Bull, Theodore Bikel, Walter Gotell, Peter Swanwick, Richard Marner, Gerald Onn, John von Kotze. Directed by John Huston. Included in this lot is a restrike photo of the Original Keystone Cops, and photos of Tallulah Bankhead, Jackie Cooper, Noah Beery, Jr., and Walter Huston and Barbara Stanwyck, just to name a few. Unrestored photos with overall presentable appearances. They may have edge wear, corner bends, creases, tears, smudges, unobtrusive stains, some surface blemishes, light toning, chips in the borders, and very minor surface paper loss. The photo from African Queen has been trimmed on all sides, has a vertical crease, and masking tape in the upper image. Two photos have touchup paint in the image to be used for publication purposes, and the photo of Tallulah Bankhead has some surface rippling. Four photos have typed studio information, snipe, and/or studio/photographer credit ink stamps on the verso. Photographers include Clarence Sinclair Bull, George Hommel, Roman Freulich, and Mal.
