Tarzan and the Leopard Woman (RKO, 1946). Very Fine. Production Storyboard (20" X 24.5"). Phil Paradise Artwork.
When a caravan is attacked by mysterious forces in the jungle, Tarzan investigates and uncovers a secret society of leopard-worshippers led by a ruthless queen (played by Aquanetta). Disguised in ceremonial garb and believing themselves superior to all men, the cult aims to destroy outsiders and resist modernization. Tarzan, with Jane and Boy, must battle this deadly threat. This painting by Phil Paradise is accomplished in India ink and watercolors. On a 20" X 24.5" artboard, with an image area of 17" X 21.5", it is signed by Paradise along with Charles Friendling at bottom right. There are glue stains and residue in the borders.
