DescriptionTarzan and the Leopard Woman (RKO, 1946). Folded, Fine+. Three Sheet (41" X 79.5"). Theaters of Old Detroit Collection.
In this better-than-average Tarzan installment (Johnny Weissmuller's ninth in the role), the Jungle Lord and Jane (Brenda Joyce in her second outing) discover a village slaughtered by a deadly sect who wear metal claws, led by the beautiful Acquanetta (of Captive Wild Woman fame). Everybody's favorite chimp, Cheeta, saves the day in this one. Featuring beautiful artwork, this three sheet is one of the best. The poster shows edge and fold wear, fold separation, creasing, and pinholes. There are small chips, a few tears, unobtrusive stains and smudges, and some paper loss at the bottom of the upper panel in the title.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
