DescriptionHell Divers (MGM, 1932). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Clark Gable, in his first starring role, competes with fellow Navy flyboy (Wallace Beery) as they're being trained in the new art of dive bombing. Made with the cooperation of the US Navy, the film features footage of flight operations on board the Navy's second aircraft carrier, the USS Saratoga. As this gorgeous lobby card suggests, it's not all business. The airmen find a little extra time to woo the ladies, including the lovelies pictured here, Dorothy Jordan and Marie Prevost. Minor imperfections include pinholes in the bottom border, top and bottom edge wear with creasing, and a bottom right corner bend. Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
