Description

    Doc Savage & Others Lot (Street & Smith, 1940). Magazines (3) (7" X 9.25"). Adventure.
Three pulp magazines including Action Stories (Fiction House, 1925), and Western Story Magazine (Street & Smith, 1925). While Doc Savage contained stories to the Golden Age hero, Action Stories contained real-world western, sports, war, and adventure stories, while Western Story Magazine was a Western specific pulp magazine. Writers for the magazines included Robert E. Howard, Walt Coburn, Theodore Roscoe, Isaac Asimov, Robert a. Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard, Jack London, Upton Sinclair, and Lester Dent. Unrestored magazines that have an overall presentable appearance. May show some signs of age, including brittleness, staining, tears, creases, slight fading, pinholes, edge or spine wear, spine separations, or some paper loss. Doc Savage's spine was taped to reinforce the spine wear, Western Story's cover has tape on the verso of its cover, and Action Stories has plastic tape taped to the spine to keep the magazine intact and its cover has been lightly trimmed. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Good/Fine.
